New Employee Orientation

The New Employee Orientation Training is designed to provide all new employees with a foundational understanding of common workplace hazards, and the essential practices and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. This orientation provides a general overview of safety. Specific job roles may require additional, more in-depth safety training (e.g., confined space, fall protection, specific machinery operation).

Who should take this training?

This training is essential for all new employees, regardless of their role or department.

OSHA Compliance

This course is developed in alignment with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and guidelines, specifically targeting requirements for OSHA General Duty Clause (Section 5(a)(1).

Course Duration and Requirements

To successfully complete the training, students will need access to a computer or mobile device with a reliable internet connection. The core of the course involves a 30-minute presentation that covers critical safety protocols and best practices. Following the presentation, students are required to take a final quiz, and a passing score of 70% is necessary to fulfill the course requirements and ensure students have a solid understanding of the safety guidelines.
